The Genesis
Roots in Genuine Connection
The City Boy Movement did not emerge from political boardrooms, but from the streets, the campuses, and the local communities representing the beating heart of Nigeria. We began as a grassroots response—a coalition of young professionals, artisans, students, and community leaders who recognized a critical void in structured, meaningful youth engagement.
What started as localized townhalls discussing progressive politics has rapidly scaled into a nationwide network of progressive thinkers, deeply committed to translating the vision of renewed hope into tangible realities across all 774 Local Government Areas.
